No. We aim to connect trans folks who are newly out and/or newly to the Fort Collins or Northern Colorado area with other trans folks who already live here and can give some bearings.
Fill out the form and an administrator (just me) of Trans Peer Network will reach via email from our transpeernetwork.foco @ gmail account. This starts our process and the reason why we require an email address to communicate with you. We will then introduce a potential connection to another trans person in the area that you can ask questions and can give you some basic information.
Initial connection with be with your preferred communication method. Be sure that if you decide to meet, for coffee for example, that you meet in a public place.
If the two of you decide to keep in touch, great. If not, no issue.

If you want to meet for coffee, that’s up to you and your connection. Be sure to meet in a public place with other folks around.
Then, when someone requests connection and our super-secret connection algorithm thinks you might be a good-ish fit, then we’ll ask you to connect. You connect. If you decide to keep in touch, great. If not, no issue.
We can only see the email you provide on in the email question on the google form. If you have a google account, we cannot see that directly. Then:
- your google form response contains the information you provide, including the email you provide
- a google sheet we maintain contains the collated responses from all form submissions, including the email you provide
- the gmail account we use to contact you will contain your email
- another trans person or ally in the area will have your email so that they can contact you
Beyond those steps, we do not directly do anything else with your email requesting or offering connection, or other information you provide.
We will collect:
- number of responses
- total number of responses
- total number of folks offering connection
- total number of folks requesting conneciton
- frequency of these responses
- general idea of where-ish folks are looking to connect
- more in North Forth Collins? that’s good to know
- no one lists a general area? that’s good to know, too
- aggregates of other specific questions
- how many responses have folks into gaming?
- etc.
We pass only necessary information to a potential trans buddy. That’s all. We do not pass identifying information to anyone else.
We may inform connections in the area of aggregates. For example, letting the owner of a local dance company for adults know that even more trans people in the area are interested in dance.
We never pass your email or personal information to anyone other than a potential trans buddy. (It felt worth repeating).
We may reach out to you, at the email you provide, for more information. We do not sell or provide your email or other information from this form to any commercial or private entity.
In our naiveté and zeal, we initially set up t4tfoco.com for this website, but then full realized that T4T is more geared towards dating, which we are not. This should now all be correct to TransPeerNetwork.com, and still focused on the Fort Collins, Northern Colorado area.
